Remove valve cap from stem. Press and hold button on face of gauge to initiate start mode, press button again and you will see ''CLE''(clear), ''OFF'', & ''STA''(start) appear on screen in sequence. Gauge is now set to ''0'' and PSI measurement selected.(PSI is standard measurement for USA market). Push gauge onto valve stem and hold for 3 seconds. Remove gauge and read pressure. Adjust tire pressure to vehicle manufacture's recommendation(#1 above) and re-install valve cap. Press and hold button again until ''CLE'' appears, this will reset gauge to zero. Repeat this procedure before measuring each tire. Upon completion gauge will shut-off automatically in 30 seconds or you may press button until display shows ''OFF''. Note: For accuracy always check pressure when tires are cold. Pressure increases with heat. Tires can lose on pound(PSI)per month under normal operating conditions.
